From Micro to Macro: The Technology Landscape

Where the WorldModel™ framework sits in relation to the underlying technology portfolio that deploys in venues today. The framework is the optional macro layer above; the micro-level technologies operate independently.

The landscape diagram shows the relationship between the micro-level technologies that run in venues today and the macro-level governance architecture that becomes relevant at scale. The micro tier is operational, deployed, and independently usable: every technology in the middle three rows can be installed in a venue without WorldModel™ and will deliver value on its own. Personalization and content (Alice®, Alice® OnBoard, Alice® Avatars, CheshireCat®). Inclusion and accessibility (Lory® with ListenAssist™, CaterPillar™, WonderLens™). Show control, surface, and operations (TeaParty®, PixelsEverywhere™, LookingGlass™ Concierge, AV++® Analytics, plus operator tools).

The foundation tier is the compute backbone that makes everything above possible. QuickSilver® is the non-proprietary compute substrate; Traditional AV is the integration foundation with twenty-five years of delivery.

WorldModel™ is the optional macro tier above. It is added when scale, multi-vendor coordination, jurisdiction, and accountability turn personalization into a governance problem. The dashed connector between WorldModel™ and the micro tier is deliberate: the framework is not required to use any of the technologies below it. It becomes relevant when a destination needs the technologies to operate as one coherent system across many vendors, many touchpoints, and a long operational lifecycle.

Technologies above are patented or patent pending. See madsystems.com/patents for the canonical portfolio.
